This is a stunning hike! But who am I kidding, what isn’t stunning in Tahoe?
AllTrails recommended this as a 1.4 mile moderate to easy hike and kid friendly. In the summer, I would agree. Understandably, winter presents more of a challenge. A lot of ice right now and not a lot of room for mistakes. Keep dogs on the leash and young kids in hand or the pack.
The icy falls and gorgeous views make the trek well worth it! Enjoy a breath taking view of Cascade Lake, gorgeous trees and mesmerizing boulders. I look forward to returning with a horse this summer. 🐴
